ISDI

The International Summer Dance Institute features a week long Children’s Cultural Arts Institute for children ages 3-12. The Children’s Week highlights four different cultures each year, and this year participants will explore cultural traditions from Haiti, Guinea – West Africa, Mexico (Folklorico) in addition to Hip Hop. Children are immersed in dance, music and crafts from 9:00am-3:00pm each day. ISDI engages students (children, teens and adults) in study of world philosophies and multicultural traditions through the creative arts. During the Children’s Intensive students are supervised and supported by a team of faculty, staff, volunteers, and the dancers of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble. The Children’s Intensive is designed for students ages 3-12, of all skill levels and the 11-13 year old Pre-Teen Intensive is designed for serious dancers ages 11-13, upon invitation.
