Based in Five Points, Denver, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance (CPRD) is an anchor arts institution rooted in cultural traditions of the African Diaspora and dedicated to cross cultural connections. This multifaceted non-profit organization is comprised of five pillars, namely, the CPRD Ensemble, Academy, Theatre, Arts-in-Education, and Arts-in-Wellbeing programs. The Academy Manager works in collaboration with the programming team to ensure accessibility and viability of each program and activity.

Position Description
Cleo Parker Robinson Dance (CPRD) seeks to hire an Education Manager to support the daily operations of CPRD’s Arts-in-Education programs. Cleo Parker Robinson Dance is a multifaceted cultural arts institution and leading arts-in-education provider in the Rocky Mountain Region. The CPRD Education Team works in a vibrant atmosphere regularly serving 20,000 students each year through partnerships with an average of 80 schools in districts throughout the Denver metropolitan area and beyond. The Education Manager works in a central, high touch capacity with community members, partners and a growing education team.
The Education Manager is a largely an outward facing position who provides primary support to the Vice President of Educational Programs in the coordination/management of school and community partnerships and ongoing expansion of the programs to dramatically increase revenue.
CPRD and its Arts-in-Education programs are inspired by the African American experience, rooted in traditions of the African diaspora, dedicated to cross-cultural education and connectivity with a deep value for the social emotional learning achieved through the Arts. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists with school partner communications (Request for Services, Confirmation of Services, Invoicing), scheduling, and coordination
· Research and help secure new opportunities and new partnerships
· Acts as spokesperson for CPRD Education, Outreach and Community Programs to promote the institution
· Articulates all program services, metrics, curricula and lesson plans to stakeholders and partners
· Visits schools to observe program activities and education team members
· May include direct services (ie teaching and/or performing) as a member of the Education Team
· Coordinate school partner field trips for matinees and other education activities on and off campus
· Utilizes our database software to add and update contacts
· Develop and coordinate professional development, mentoring track, and curriculum support workshop opportunities for teaching artist and staff on best practices in arts education and out-of-school time programming
· Performs special projects as requested
Qualifications:
· Value and passion for vision and mission of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with the public and students, and ability to work in high energy environment
· Excellent organizational (coordinating multiple tasks and events) and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Computer Literacy
· Ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders
· Must be able to work and set priorities independently to effectively balance competing deadlines
· Interest and cultural competency for working with and in diverse communities
· A strong work ethic and unwavering standards of personal and professional integrity
· Commitment to handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and professionalism
· Dance background and teaching experience required
· Experience with storytelling through social media platforms is beneficial
Class: Full Time, Salaried
Compensation: Range $30,000- $34,000
CPRD offers a comprehensive employee benefits program:
