DANCING WITH THE DENVER STARS GALA

The annual “Dancing with the Denver Stars” Gala is the premier fundraiser for CPRD’s Arts-in-Education and outreach programming. Long before “Arts in Education” was a commonly used term, Cleo Parker Robinson had a vision. Her Ensemble would tour cultural and artistic educational programs, utilizing funds that would support teaching dance to the next generation of artists and patrons. Today, CPRD provides dance and movement education in 65 – 80 schools across the Denver-Metro area, using the power of dance to enrich the lives of children across Colorado.

The “Dancing with the Denver Stars” Gala is an opportunity for companies who value arts and equity to come together. Each year this event includes 12-14 business and community leaders who take the stage to dance alongside our professional dancers.

Tables and sponsorship options are available between March and July each year, with audience attendance capped at 700. The 2023 event will be August 12th at the Downtown Denver Hilton.

Juneteenth

Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood has celebrated Juneteenth since the 1950’s. In 2022, Juneteenth became Colorado’s most recent state holiday signed by Governor Jared Polis in the theater of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. In 2023, CPRD will host our 3-day Juneteenth celebration with panel discussions, music and dance performances, community events, and a featured keynote speaker.

CPRD offers a wide range of opportunities for corporate partners to help us acknowledge the “Freedom Day” of Black Americans which includes underwriting and sponsorship opportunities as well as premier sponsorships for our Juneteenth pop-up museum and community events.

Black History Month

In keeping with its 52-year history of linking Denver’s artistic and business communities through a common vision, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance offers a diverse range of opportunities for our corporate partners.  Join us in strengthening the foundations of an equitable and just society by supporting educational avenues and performances that speak to the needs of people of all ages and backgrounds.
