“BLACKBERRY LOVE” Is an original, award winning, full length play, in three acts, written and directed by Adija Diamant, founder and artistic director of The Love Theatre, located in Denver, CO., Committed to recruiting, training and displaying the finest talent in Colorado! BBL features an all African-American cast and is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary with this Vintage, Platinum Production! Don’t miss this classically, culturally rich,  and beautiful work of art! Our cast of seasoned actors, including four original cast members, are among the very best in the industry. They come from New York, California, Colorado and beyond, and are delighted to engage and entertain you with the depth of their professionalism and genuine love of our craft. “Most of us have our own ideas and constructs of what we call “LOVE” but the real truth is; the definition varies widely!”
“BlackBerry Love” depicts the dramatic presentation of a few realistic, passionate definitions of this thing we call “LOVE”!

Brilliantly portrayed by four uniquely fabulous women, and four incredibly fine, but amazingly unpredictable men they are desperately trying to lay their loving on! intertwined with joy and laughter through the comic relief of our dynamic duo, Della and Daddy!

Originally produced, and set in the year 1997, our play takes on several universal issues that are still very relevant today, even in 2017! That’s part of what makes Blackberry Love so enjoyable; it’s simply timeless! It’s also a very poignant, high energy, real to life, romantic drama with some low lows, some high highs, and some really good laughs!
