The Dancing with the Denver Stars Gala is the premier fundraiser for CPRD. This year’s Gala funds will be used to support community programs including education and well-being. 100% of proceeds from this event will support our work in the community, including offering paid internships, and funding health, movement and well-being events not only in Denver Metro but numerous rural areas around Colorado.
This will be the 15th anniversary of Dancing With the Denver Stars where we will be Celebrating Girl Groups: from Doo-Wop to Hip-Hop. This year’s DWTDS will be held on August 23rd, 2025 at a new location! To celebrate this special milestone we are moving to the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel from 6p -10p.
For the past 6 years this has been a SOLD-OUT event! Join us for the most fabulous party in town! Table sponsorship is open now, please look at the information and click the links below to learn more about the corporate and dinner committee options or email Hillary (hillary@cleoparkerdance.org) to talk more.
Individual tickets will be available starting June 5!
Cleo Parker Robinson Dance is pleased to announce this year’s Gala STARS:
We will announce our full roster of Stars plus our group dancers at the end of May! Check back often for all our great 15th anniversary updates.
We asked our Alumni Stars why they wanted to dance…. a few of their responses below:
“Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company has been a legacy institution within the Denver community for many years. Dance, culture, and the arts are important vehicles that both connect and fuel our humanity.” Ivan Burwell, StreetSource
“Cleo & I partnered back in the late 70’s. Now almost 35 years later, Cleo has offered me an opportunity to put a pause as a physician for a few hours, so I can learn the art of the dance… But in the words of Bernie Mac… I’m not scared.” Dr. Johnny Johnson, Western OBGYN
“I am honored to share the stage with one of Colorado’s most valuable treasures – Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble. The dance and performing arts are very special to me because they give color, life, movement and inspiration to our communities – most especially our children. Marcia Romero, CoBizBank
“I didn’t understand the importance of dance to my own mental and physical well-being until I reached my 20s– but I’ve been dancing ever since. CPRD’s arts-in-education program helps youth of all ages develop self-confidence, address stress, promote health and receive other benefits through the joy of dance.” Bruce Johnson, Polsinelli
